The Conté à Paris charcoals are natural or compressed.
- Natural charcoals : In its raw state, natural charcoal isparticularly rich in colour.
- Compressed charcoals : A natural charcoal form that is more compactan easier to handle.

Exist in graduations HB, B, 2B, 3B and 4B.
